Emilio Aguinaldo College was founded in 1971, and its School of Medicine (EAC SOM) was established in 2001. Since its inception, EAC SOM has produced thousands of medical graduates who are now practicing across the globe, including in the United States and Canada. The medical school is currently operational and recognized in the World Directory of Medical Schools. Students and graduates of EAC SOM are eligible to apply for ECFMG Certification and examinations in the United States, provided their graduation year is 2001 or later. Additionally, medical degrees from this institution are acceptable to provincial and territorial medical regulatory authorities in Canada, making them valid for medical registration throughout the country.
